Acceptance of Terms

  • Using Hervat (the Service) means you accept these Terms.
  • If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Service Description

  • Hervat provides AI-assisted resume analysis, rewriting, and application support.
  • The Service is provided as-is, without guarantees of accuracy, outcomes, or job placement.
  • Hervat may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature without notice.

Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older and legally capable of entering an agreement.

Accounts

  • You are responsible for the security of your account and all activity under it.
  • Provide accurate information.
  • Hervat may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, non-payment, breach of terms, or security risk.

User Content

  • User Content includes resumes, job posts, uploads, messages, and data you submit.
  • You grant Hervat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, analyse, modify, transform, generate derivatives, store/reproduce for service delivery, and use anonymised data to improve models.
  • Hervat does not sell personal data. You retain ownership of your original content.

AI-Generated Output

  • Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your use.
  • You must review and verify all outputs before use.
  • Hervat is not liable for employment decisions, hiring outcomes, lost opportunities, or incorrect analysis.

Payment, Billing, and Entitlements

  • Purchases are non-transferable.
  • Entitlements are bound to your account, a specific upload or previewId, and the purchased tier.
  • Hervat may adjust pricing and plans at any time. Non-payment may suspend access.

No Guarantees

  • No guarantee of job placement, interviews, or hiring outcomes.
  • Scoring and matching are advisory only.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not scrape data, misuse visibility tools, spam or harass users, reverse engineer, bypass security or payment, or upload malicious files.
  • Violations may lead to termination and legal action.

Intellectual Property

  • All code, UI/UX design, algorithms, prompts, scoring systems, templates, branding, and platform content belong to Hervat.
  • No rights are granted beyond those explicitly provided.

Limitation of Liability

  • Hervat is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the previous 30 days.
  • Not responsible for misrepresentation, uploaded content errors, or third-party integrations.

Termination

  • Hervat may suspend or terminate for breach, misuse, security threats, legal violation, or payment failure.
  • Users may delete their accounts at any time.

Governing Law

  • Governed by the laws of South Africa.

Changes to Terms

  • Hervat may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
